When Mickey Rourke recently told Vulture that his upcoming drama Passion Play is “terrible,” he very contritely offered an apology two days later, admitting, “I don’t know why I said that stupid shit … my bad.” It appears he hasn’t learned his lesson: When a reporter for the New York Observer told Rourke this week that he was looking forward to the movie, Rourke again reiterated, “You shouldn’t be. It’s terrible … I don’t know if you’d even want to watch a slideshow of that.” Of course, who needs a slideshow when Rourke’s own sideshow is so compelling? [NYO]
