Caution: This Art Might Make You Seasick

No, you're not drunk: That wall is actually moving. The 360-degree panning loop is often used to exaggerate the virtues of real estate, but in this clever video by artist Ricci Albenda, it becomes an actual "annex." At Andrew Kreps Gallery through June 16, Albenda uses a simple "virtual tour" of a white-walled room to extend the gallery, building on his earlier, trompe l'oeil relief sculptures (and, perhaps unintentionally, riffing on the gallery-expansion boom in Chelsea). It's also worth seeing the installation in person, but take caution; in the minute before your eyes adjust to the darkened room, you might find yourself walking smack into the wall. —Karen Rosenberg
