The New York Wave lives! The Gotham-based Coen brothers swept through the New York Film Critics Circle today, winning Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and Supporting Actor for No Country for Old Men.
The other notable win was for Vulture fave Amy Ryan, whose Supporting Actress win for Gone Baby Gone gives her a clean sweep of the crucial past few days in critics' awards. Suddenly Cate Blanchett in I'm Not There doesn't look like such a shoo-in anymore.
