Artist Oscar de las Flores Says Only Dinosaurs Still Own Standard-Definition TVs

Recalling Dinosaurs (TGIF circa 1991), Salvadorian draftsman Oscar de las Flores's Preludio Paleontologico pictures a dino-man with Michelangelo-esque bulk, seated next to his boob-tube-loving dino-lady. Evolution seems to have taken a turn for the worse, aesthetically at least. This work and others are up at Chelsea's Morgan Lehman gallery through February 23. —Rachel Wolff
