Artist Sigalit Landau Swims Naked Among Watermelons

In Israeli artist Sigalit Landau’s sumptuous wall-spanning projection, on view at MoMA through July 28, Landau emerges from a coil of watermelons, buoyant in the Dead Sea. The creamy image looks something like a childhood fantasy of an aspiring synchronized swimmer. Or perhaps inspiration for an Activia ad. —Emma Pearse
