R. Kelly’s First Post-Trial Interview: ‘I’m No Different From a Fireman’

By

In the middle of his predictably insane first post-trial interview on BET last night — in which he refused to answer practically all questions and talked in ridiculous circles ("If you were charged with something, and you were found innocent, then you can't be found guilty for being found innocent") — R. Kelly vowed not to stop recording dirty songs simply because of the way the public sees him as a formerly accused child pornographer:

Well, you know, I'm not going to let this affect my gift … I've said no matter what, I'm not going to let this make me run under a rock and not do my job. You know, I'm no different from a fireman. You got to run into a fire no matter how big the blaze is.

True that! So here's hoping for Backdraft-themed chapter of Trapped in the Closet.
