Dust Off Your Hacky Sacks: Phish Is Reuniting!

The first hundred people to show up with first-borns named Golgi drink free!

Phish, the influential jam band who captivated the hearts and bowls of innumerable nineties wanderers, have announced that they will be reuniting publicly for the first time in four years at a trio of concerts in Virginia in March. The quartet had previously reunited for a private performance at the wedding of their former road manager last month, and mentioned an intention to play more shows together in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. Though the group has only formally announced a set of shows at the Hampton Coliseum — the setting of their best-selling live album Hampton Comes Alive — they have also promised additional dates in 2009. This is surely much to the delight of thousands of boarding-school-grads-cum-professionals, who are probably digging up their old cassette tapes and putting in requests for some serious touring vacation time at this very moment.
