Eminem Falls Off the Wagon

1. Eminem, “I’m Having a Relapse”
This new track from Slim Shady, from his forthcoming album Relapse, is totally worth the hangover. [We Like It Indie]

2. Kanye West, “Heartless (Unmastered Version)”
The full (but unmastered) version of Kanye’s new single makes us feel like somebody should tell the emperor that his 40-woman art installation isn’t wearing any clothes. [Pretty Much Amazing]

3. Apples in Stereo, “(Baby It’s) So Cold”
Robert Schneider sings that “the winter is an invitation for revelation” on this possibly new song from the Elephant 6 stalwarts, but the only revelation we’ve ever had during a New York winter is that one should try to avoid stepping in slush on the curb. [You Ain’t No Picasso]

4. Fall Out Boy, “What a Catch, Donnie”
On this new (and sorta lame) Fall Out Boy track, singer Patrick Stump says that he’s “got troubled thoughts and the self esteem to match,” which is probably because nobody seems to care at all about his new record, now due in December. [Viva la Mainstream]

5. Tame Impala, “Forty-One Mosquitoes Flying in Formation”
We’re not sure which we find more objectionable about Australian psych-rockers Tame Impala — that they kept a pet cockroach or that they let it die of starvation. If you can get past your fear of bugs, though, this track rocks. [Rose Quartz]
