CSI: Miami Video Game Lets You Put David Caruso in Your Pocket

Excerpt from I’ll Replace You (2008)

Do you gingerphiles ever find yourself wishing that you had more opportunities to interact with David Caruso? Not quite sure what to get The Soup’s Joel McHale for the holidays? Will you be stranded at home with nothing to do tonight thanks to the blizzard? If you answered yes to any of the above, we’ve got good(ish) news for you. While breezing around the iPhone app store this afternoon, we discovered the best worst app we’ve downloaded since the Virtual Zippo lighter. Yes, that’s right, for the low, low price of $5.99, you too can purchase a CSI: Miami game that promises users “total immersion in the adventure” (yes!) and the ability to “shake your iPhone to mix chemicals.” And from the looks of the screen cap above, Horatio Caine’s trademark cheesy wit thankfully seems to be in place. We haven’t played the game yet, but we’re assuming that the words highlighted in yellow are supposed to signal you to remove your sunglasses and play the Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again” at full blast. Speaking of which, stick around after the jump for a little Friday-afternoon fun. Y-y-yeeeaahhhhhh!

It’s an oldie, but a goodie.
