There are two major reasons that we're not entirely sold on the premise of Will Ferrell's upcoming Broadway play, You're Welcome America. A Final Night With George W. Bush: 1) It's an extremely old bit (Ferrell left SNL in 2002!) and B) it's too soon (not sure we're quite ready to laugh about the events of the last eight years yet). That said, we're happy that we won't have to shell out to see it performed live, as HBO just landed the rights to air a live broadcast of the play sometime next spring. [Variety]
