Piven-less Plow Recoups

Living larger than ever.

Despite outrageous claims earlier from Speed-the-Plow's backers that Jeremy Piven's mercury-poisoned departure (and subsequent replacement by William H. Macy and Norbert Leo Butz) would prevent the play from turning a profit, Playbill reports today that it's recouped its initial investment. We hope producers will do the right thing and donate all additional revenues to help cover Piven's medical bills, which are surely enormous. [Playbill]
