In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court has ruled that the FCC is allowed to fine broadcasters for on-air profanities and that the "one-free-expletive rule" no longer stands. This means that if Julia Roberts's roast of Tom Hanks last night had been televised, some unlucky network probably would've filed for bankruptcy this morning. [AP]
