Jonathan Groff Thanks Furry Co-Stars

Yesterday, Ben Brantley raved about one talented raccoon’s performance in the Public Theater’s Central Park production of The Bacchae. On Monday night, Jonathan Groff, who plays Dionysus, shared a few words of appreciation: “I just think that the raccoons really dig Euripides,” he told us at the play’s opening-night party. “They’ve come to see this play and have been really supportive of us. So I say thank you to the raccoons.”
