But as Taylor Swift was thanking her small cabal of fans who’d somehow managed to rig the voting, Kanye West bravely bounded onstage and poetically articulated what we were all feeling, a deed for which he was commended by hip-hop colleagues, two presidents, 18 million television viewers, and 93 Vulture commenters.
