Woodstock Coming to Broadway, for Some Reason

By

Baby Boomers have been telling you how great Woodstock was for the past 40 years, so what's a couple more? Today, festival producer Michael Lang (recently portrayed on film by Jonathan Groff) announced plans for a Broadway musical based on the legendary 1969 clusterfuck. Such a show would likely premiere next year and "would center less on the details of producing the festival than on the lives of people who attended it and how the experience affected them." So look out for a song by that guy who ate the brown acid. [ArtsBeat/NYT]
