When we caught up with Tim Burton this week during a preview of his new retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art (which opens this Sunday), we wondered what it was like to be the subject of a museum exhibit. “It’s amazing,” he told us. “It’s something that’s never happened before, so it’s even more surreal than a movie premiere, because it’s more personal. It’s more exposing in a way.”
