ABC’s banishment of Ugly Betty to Friday night pretty much killed the show’s ratings (it has lost 46 percent of its adult demo audience since returning for the fall season). But that’s the past! The network has mercifully decided to save Betty from Friday-night hell by moving the show to Wednesdays. It will take over the slot vacated by Eastwick in January. Don’t forget to program that VCR!
