Back in February, ?uestlove talked to Rolling Stone about the Roots being tasked with writing about 200 new compositions to play during segues on the Jimmy Fallon Show. It sounded pretty daunting — but they pulled it off! And then some: Now, to celebrate cracking 1,000 “sandwiches” (as the band refers to them), ?uest released 22 of them, and they’ve been very helpfully whipped into EP form by the folks at All the Way Live.
