Looks like Snoop Dogg's upcoming album, Malice N Wonderland, won’t be giving us just wonderfully ridiculous cover art, it’ll also be giving us a wonderfully ridiculous movie! Snoop is the latest rapper to package a new release with a tangentially related self-starring crime flick nobody really asked for. He plays Malice, a gun-toting do-gooder fighting a dictator (an evil one, the title cards point out) in the city of Wonderland. Though, wily vet that he is, Snoop seems to be in on the joke: Yes, the trailer features Soulja Boy as Malice’s personal bathrobe handler, plus some anonymous thugs playing William Tell with a damsel-in-distress, but it also has actor-in-real-life Jamie Foxx and seemingly respectable production values. Best of all, Rolling Stone tells us it's a short. And whatever else, it'll definitely be better than this.
