Roman Polanski Goes Home

And he's out! This morning, following the approval of a $4.5 million bail offer, an ankle-braceleted Roman Polanski was transferred from Swiss prison to his adorable-looking chalet in Gstaad where he'll surf the Internet, talk on the phone, and throw parties as he awaits word on whether he'll be extradited to the U.S. More than 200 journalists gathered at his home in advance of his arrival, but he reportedly drove directly into an underground garage without comment, probably because he figured if he granted one interview, he'd have to grant them all interviews.
