Susan Boyle Is Going Double Platinum

Proving once again that there is no one better equipped to gauge the tastes of people who were born before 1970 than Simon Cowell, Susan Boyle sold an astounding 582,000 copies of her album last week. Believe it or not, that's a 10 percent increase over the prior week's sales. The Hairy Angel has now moved 1.8 million copies of her debut LP and could potentially top Taylor Swift's Fearless as the year's best-selling album. Between this and the news that the decade's top rock act is Nickelback, we honestly can't wait for the next decade to begin. [Billboard]
