When we caught up with Andy Whitfield recently at a screening of Extraordinary Measures, we wondered what was the most extraordinary thing he's done himself, outside of his new role on Spartacus: Blood in the Sand on Starz. "I once saved a beautiful girl by having an oven blow up in my face and not hers," he told us. "Then I jumped in a swimming pool to put the flames out." But it wasn't intentional. "The thing is, I didn’t do it in any heroic act, because I didn’t know it was going to explode. But, she was saved. I lost a bit of eyebrow."
