When NBCU Entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin told reporters in January, "My goal right now is to keep Jay, Conan, and Jimmy as part of our late-night lineup" (oops), some wondered if his omission in that statement meant Carson Daly's 1:35 talk show was in trouble. But fear not! James Hibberd reports that the solid-performing Last Call will return from hiatus after the Olympics on March 1, and with a new producer — Stewart Bailey, who spent ten years as the co-executive producer of The Daily Show. Daly's show hasn't yet been renewed for another season (it finishes its current one in May), but we'd be pretty surprised if it didn't (probably not as surprised as Stewart Bailey, though).
