EMI is so bad on money right now that they’re seeking bidders for the famous studio where the Beatles recorded “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer,” among other songs. A sale of Abbey Road, one of the few studios large enough to accommodate an entire orchestra, would likely raise “tens of millions of pounds.” And hell, they’ll even throw in Ringo for free. [FT]
