Idol to Allow Finalists to Use Twitter, Facebook

Get ready for a #SimonJustMadeMeCry trending topic. In what could potentially be a major shakeup in the Universe of Idol, American Idol producers will for the first time allow its 24 finalists to post to “Idol-approved” MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter pages. At the moment, Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace accounts have been set up for all of the finalists, though none have seen any activity yet, MTV News reports.
