Over at All Things D, Peter Kafka has made a pretty interesting discovery. Apparently NBC has removed all video of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien from both its own website and Hulu. Gawker notes that other canceled NBC shows (Lipstick Jungle, Kings, Knight Rider) still have active websites and clips online. So what's NBC up to? Surely the network recognizes that all those people who love Conan so much want to watch videos of his show. And surely they realize that if they host that video those people will watch on their website. And of course they know that more visitors and means money. But maybe this is NBC's attempt to prove that its bottom line isn't its only concern.
