Movieline must be commended today for unearthing this glorious 1988 music video, a collaboration between formerly married Oscar-nominated directors James Cameron and Kathryn Bigelow, for “Reach,” a song by Bill Paxton’s hilarious long-defunct new-wave band, Martini Ranch. The HMFIC directs and Bigelow plays a foxy cattle-driving gunslinger. Also featured are Judge Reinhold, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, a monkey, a mariachi band, a hanging, and a song you’ll never want to hear again. Enjoy!
