Movie Theaters to Offer Best Picture Nominee Marathons and ‘Bigelow vs. Cameron’ Screenings

As it did last year, AMC theaters will be showing marathons of all the Best Picture nominees (viewers will have a choice between splitting the ten movies between two days a week apart or seeing, gulp, all of them in 24 hours on March 6), and the IFC Theater in Manhattan is taking (kind of egregious) advantage of the petty (press) rivalry between exes Kathryn Bigelow and James Cameron by offering “Bigelow versus Cameron” midnight screenings through April, where they’ll show either a Cameron or Bigelow movie every Saturday night at midnight.
