Pointless Band Gets Into Pointless Scrum With Pointless Politician

Those of you out there who fear the that inexplicable success of Ke$ha indicates the music industry has reached its nadir have clearly never heard of LMFAO. The "band," which is comprised of a guy named Sky Blu and another named Redfoo, have experienced some degree of success in recent months. Not only is their song "Get Crazy" the theme song for Jersey Shore, but their date-rapey collaboration with Lil Jon, "Shots," has spent over ten weeks on Billboard's Hot 100. And now, it seems, the band is grabbing headlines after getting into an altercation on an airplane with 2008 Republican presidential also-ran Mitt Romney.

It seems that both Romney and LMFAO's Sky Blu were flying first class from Vancouver to Los Angeles on Monday (perhaps both were at the Olympics?) when the shenanigans went down. According to TMZ:

It all started when [Blu] leaned his seat back while the plane was still on the tarmac ... and Romney, who was sitting behind him, started yelling at him to put his seat back up.

We were kind of hoping that the band would've been deported by now, never to be heard from again, but sadly, it seems that they eventually were able to return to the United States. Your move, Das Racist!
