David Foster Wallace’s Private Papers Sold

The Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas has purchased the private papers of David Foster Wallace, which includes drafts of books and stories, handwritten Infinite Jest notes, his dictionary, and a heavily annotated collection of books by John Updike, Cormac McCarthy, Don DeLillo, and others. According to the Howling Fantods, Wallace’s posthumous novel on the IRS and boredom, The Pale King, will be published in April of next year. [NYT]
