We've learned that Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart sing four songs on the Runaways soundtrack, and today, with Dakota Fanning's rendition of "Cherry Bomb," we get a first taste of what that'll sound like. In a word: bad! Well, not bad-bad — although we almost turned it off after the teenager-y, overpronounced "skoow-uhl / fooh-ul" bit at the beginning, the rest was pretty decent. The juvenile "Mo-om" vocals remain painful throughout, but she gets definite points for effort and enthusiasm. And she's a teenager, so she can't help it. Anyway, here's Dakota's version:

To be honest, our biggest takeaway was that this is a pretty annoying song to listen to, regardless of who's singing it. Thoughts?
