Seejima, Nishizawa

Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, the team of Japanese architects behind New York’s New Museum, have received the 2010 Pritzker Prize for the museums, university buildings, and fashion boutiques they’ve designed throughout the world. In May, at the official prize ceremony, the duo will receive two bronze medallions, a grant for $100,000, and a new appreciation for the experience of American immigrants. [AP]
