The latest trend in music festivals seems to be devising the most inane method possible for releasing the names of its artists. First Bonnaroo used a MySpace countdown clock to reveal its acts, releasing a new name every six minutes. And now Lollapalooza has debuted a website featuring a giant game of Hangman with the names of all the acts. For now, just the letter “o” has been filled in (see it large here). Though we’ve never been particularly good at Hangman, we can say with confidence that rumored headliners Soundgarden, Green Day and Lady Gaga look like safe bets for the first three slots.
