Pink Floyd Not Making EMI’s Crappy Week Any Better

A day after OK Go’s Damian Kulash put EMI Music on blast for being really super broke, Pink Floyd have won a court battle preventing the label from selling single-track downloads from their albums. The label had, without direct permission of the band, allowed such downloads in digital stores and sold portions of individual tracks as ringtones. As of today, you can still purchase Pink Floyd’s discography à la carte on iTunes and Amazon.com, but if buying an mp3 of “Comfortably Numb” without the rest of The Wall was on your to-do list, you should probably get on that right away. EMI could really use the money! [Guardian UK]
