The Rolling Stones have announced they’ll release two DVDs this year: Stones in Exile, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Exile on Main Street (out in June), and Ladies and Gentlemen … The Rolling Stones, their concert film from 1972 (out in the fall). But why now? We’re going to assume it’s because they, too, watched the amateurs on Idol warble their way through the Stones catalogue the other night, and wisely assumed now would be a good time to sell people footage of the real deal.
