At the Roundabout Theatre Company’s celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s 80th birthday earlier this week, where it was announced that the Henry Miller’s Theatre would be renamed for Sondheim, a slew of Broadway luminaries told us about how intimidating it is to work with the prolific composer.
“I met him at my audition for Sweeney Todd,” Victor Garber said. “And it was probably the most terrifying experience of my life.”
