Ben Silverman Explains It All

Look, Ben Silverman already told you that his new venture, Electus, is a “broad-based, 360-degree, multi-creative company” that “bridges the gap between traditional television and the Internet” and “breaks down the silos” that networks and advertisers operate in. Seems perfectly straightforward to us. But because that didn’t adequately convince a few haters that Electus is actually a real thing, the former NBC wunderkind was invited to give the keynote speech at the recent MIPTV conference in Cannes, where he explained that his new company is “looking to build in-house capabilities that have normally existed among differing sectors” to “apply concepts that we can apply the digital extensions around from the beginning,” and “create full-circle, because that’s where culture can really manifest.” That should clear things up.
