Chuck Fans Have Mob Mentality


Fans of NBC's Chuck have been known to get creative when it comes to expressing their enthusiasm for the show, which always seems to be on the brink of cancellation. Last year, a Chuck fan site organized a “Finale and a Footlong” campaign that urged fans to buy sandwiches from Chuck sponsor Subway and received national attention. This year’s effort is a bit more involved: Chuck fanatics, who will be dressed in the outfits of the show’s Buy More employees, will stage themed flash mobs in four different U.S. cities - Chicago, Seattle, San Diego and Philadelphia - on Monday. The mobs are intended to drum up some press and also “market the show to potential viewers.” [HR]
