George Lopez: ‘I’m Team Coco ... and Now I’m Team Loco’

George Lopez made it abundantly clear on Larry King Live tonight that he harbors no ill will toward Conan O’Brien for kicking him from his 11 p.m. spot on TBS to the midnight hour. In fact, Lopez sees them becoming “a same-sex Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball” that will “take late night into a new generation.” Lopez said that while the logistics haven’t been hammered out yet, he hopes that he and O'Brien will occasionally appear on each other’s shows.

“We'll want to have some synergy … Conan and I talked about doing things together, about him being on the lot, about him and I doing pieces together back and forth, which I think is innovative for late-night TV," he said.
