Last night Courtney Love told David Letterman about a period of her life that she refers to as “the Letterman Years”: a six-year cocaine binge that began with her dancing on the host’s desk and flashing him. Love says she’s clean now, so Letterman was mostly concerned with brand management in his association with those years. On the Tonight Show Jessica Simpson revealed her own drug of choice, which really isn’t as quirky as she seemed to think it is, given that the substance in question is fairly addictive. The Daily Show had a solution for the SEC’s apparent porn addiction, and finally, Brendan Fraser demonstrated how he fights animals on a limited CGI budget (he was promoting his newest movie, Furry Vengeance).
