It’s that time of year when Mad Men fans overanalyze Mad Men casting calls for possible clues as to the direction of next season, which is reported to begin filming the first episode, tentatively titled “Public Relations,” on April 12. Michael Ausiello got word that this is what Weiner and Co. are looking for:
“ a handsome and creative male; a voluptuous, curvy, and cute brunette who is friendly but professional; and an affable guy who is a bit lacking in personality.”
So … Don, Peggy, and Ken? (Hey, Peggy’s curvy under all those clothes, maybe!) The characters are described as “potentially recurring.” (And to the skeptics: If this were a very subtle April Fools’ joke, the curvy one would be a redhead, not a brunette.)
