In a pretty genuinely touching moment, Tracy Morgan lost his composure when asked about his 30 Rock boss Tina Fey on the Oprah Winfrey Show today.
“She’s my friend. I love her,” he said. “She understood that I knew who I was. Where everybody else [said]: ‘Oh, he don’t know. His whole career is chance.’ And she understood that I was making choices. I was making choices on TV. And she not only would write things, she would just encourage me.”
Aside from being encouraging and understanding, it probably also helps that she’s one of the few people that can decipher what he’s saying.
