Good news! Though he’s currently knee-deep in promotion for the new Gorillaz album and the writing of his next opera, Damon Albarn says he’s not opposed to recording more Blur songs (like the one-off single the band recorded last month): “I’m definitely going to do a few more of those seven-inches. I love the no pressure aspect,” he tells NME. “We can’t do it all the time. So I don’t want anyone to think there’s an album coming soon, it’s not possible, but we’ve got songs!” So Dave Rowntree will be employed part time, at least. [NME]
