In somewhat of a surprise move, Fox has decided to keep both Lie to Me and Human Target on its fall schedule, though it had been speculated they would choose one or the other. Fox also picked up four new series: RideAlong, a Chicago police drama from The Shield's Shawn Ryan about a cop and the city's first female police chief; Midland, the tale of a Texas con man; three-dudes-are-friends comedy Traffic Light; and Keep Hope Alive, about, well, "a 25-year-old single parent raising an infant with the help of his quirky family after the mother of the baby — with whom he had a one-night stand — ends up on death row." The death penalty! Murderers! Funny!
