Glee Wants Susan Boyle for Lunch-Lady Role

About a year after the rest of the world, Glee appears to have developed something of an obsession with Susan Boyle. First, the show featured the Britain’s Got Talent star’s signature jam (“I Dreamed a Dream”) last night (sung by Broadway belters Lea Michele and Idina Menzel, no less), and now comes word the series is courting Boyle herself to appear on the show. The role Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has in mind for her may sound familiar, though:

“I have two words for you: Lunch. Lady,” Murphy told EW. “I think Kurt would just die to give her a Christmas makeover. I don’t even know if she’s interested but it’s been pitched.”

Well, Boyle would definitely bring a different vibe to the character from the previous big-name celeb Murphy was considering for the (apparently pivotal?) lunch-lady role: J.Lo.
