According to Nelson, the gentleman who runs Michael Bay’s official website, Wednesday’s reports about Gemma Arterton being the front-runner to replace Megan Fox in Transformers 3 are incorrect. Last night, responding to a message-board commenter asking for verification on a rumor that Fox’s fill-in has already been hired, and that she is “much hotter with no tattoos,” the webmaster said: “Maybe one small tattoo. No hints, but it’s not Gemma.” So which single-tattooed starlet will wear the jorts in next summer’s Transformeriest tentpole? Movieline’s S.T. VanAirsdale speculates either Mila Kunis or Amanda Seyfried, both of whom are lightly inked and hilariously out of Shia LaBeouf’s league. Any more guesses? You know where to leave them. Then again, Nelson is the same guy who told us Bay’s Fox-slamming dis letter last year was from an anonymous Transformers 2 crew member, so maybe Angelina Jolie still has a shot here.
