J.J. Abrams’s Undercovers Gets Picked Up by NBC

NBC has picked up J.J. Abrams's spy comedy Undercovers for a thirteen-episode run, making it the first scripted show confirmed for the 2010–11 season. Described as a less marital-strife-y Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Undercovers features two married ex-spies turned caterers called back into duty, and stars Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (for more details, see here). Step one in NBC's rehabilitation plan, complete. [Deadline]
