Don’t Ask Russell Crowe About His Irish Accent

If there's one thing we've learned, it's that asking a famously cranky actor about the authenticity of his movie accent is a terrific way to keep an interview from running on for too long. Russell Crowe got a little testy with a BBC reporter yesterday who mentioned he sounds a little Irish in this weekend's Robin Hood: "You've got dead ears, mate — seriously dead ears if you think there's an Irish accent," he said, before storming off. "No I was going for an Italian ... Missed it? Fuck me." [Telegraph UK]
