Uncle Boonmee Wins Palme d’Or


With its fancy award ceremony over, Cannes has come to an end and Apichatpong Weerasethakul's film Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives has won the Palme d'Or. The festival's Grand Prize went to French director Xavier Beauvois's Of Gods and Men, and the jury prize went to Mahamet-Saleh Haroun's A Screaming Man.
