Danger Mouse Gives Vulture His Endless Summer Playlist

Who needs the hassle of composing a playlist for each and every rooftop cookout? Not us. And not Danger Mouse (a.k.a. Brian Burton of Gnarls Barkley and Broken Bells), whom we asked to create this exclusive list of summer songs — 165! 170! — that you can put on shuffle. "Some of it is old, some new," explains Burton, whose album with Sparklehorse, Dark Night of the Soul, is out July 13. "I wanted to spend the summer sitting on a porch listening to stuff like this, but it looks like I'll be touring ... " (You can load up his list yourself; it's on iTunes as Vulture's Endless Summer Playlist part 1 and part 2.)
